The Innovative Communications Alliance Collaboration Centers are state-of-the-art
facilities that showcase the integrated innovation of Nortel and Microsoft. These
dynamic, hands-on facilities are dedicated to providing customers a real-life unified
communications experience by mirroring an individual customer's environment. Certified
experts from Microsoft and Nortel offer general unified communications briefings,
tailored architecture design and unique proof-of-concept sessions to illustrate
the benefits of unified communications technology and help plan advanced, multi-product
infrastructure solutions based on customer needs.
Moving customers from concept to real world solutions
Collaboration Center services enable customers to move from concept to tangible,
integrated unified communication solutions that solve their real business challenges.
Customers can select between three types of offerings: a unified communications
briefing, an architecture design session, or a proof-of-concept.
- Customized Unified Communications Briefing Session: examines a
customer's current IT environment and business objectives, demonstrate ICA solutions
in action, offers tailored product/technology drill downs, and delivers a clear
and actionable picture of how Nortel and Microsoft technologies can help customers
reach their business goals.
- Architecture Design Session: drills deeper into customer business
objectives and aligns them with specific network technologies and applications.
Experts provide architecture guidance, preferred practices input, and risk analysis
resulting in a high-level conceptual architecture that identifies business fit.
- Proof-of-Concept: technical deep-dive sessions in which architects
work closely with key members of a customer's technical staff to transfer knowledge
and prove out custom solutions. A pre-configured, private, secure and fully loaded
development suite will be prepared for this session. Customers leave with a customized
solution validation, integration test activities, knowledge transfer, and sizing-scalability-configurations
that predict and preempt potential network bottlenecks.
